Wet N Wild Natural Blend Pressed Powder
Product: Wet N Wild Natural Blend Pressed Powder
Shade: Buff
Price: I got it on sale for $2.99 (regular $4.99) from Rite Aid.
Coverage: Sheer to light
My thoughts: Okay, So i was really excited that i found a powder that might be a dupe for Mac StudioFix Pressed Powder...but, this is not even close.
The color, there is a tiny bit of pink in it, which isnt really evident in the picture (my apologies). That is a no no for me. I am yellow...I need yellow, not yellow and dash of pink. I still thought i would try it. I put it on with a brush and it was soo messy! the powder got everywhere! Still, i was like its okay, ill be more careful. When i put it on, i already had concealer on a few spots...nothing major.
Now, keep in mind that the brush i use is made to deliver a full coverage finish, meaning it picks up a lot of product (ELF Studio Powder Brush - a flat top brush). It took about 6-8 times of me getting product (a lot of it) and brushing it on my face...6-8 times for ONE side of my face! This has VERY sheer coverage..maybe light coverage, but not even close to medium or full.
I still thought, its okay. Its still way cheaper than Mac so i will still be saving money by using 6-8 brush strokes (1 brush stroke = brush it in product, pick up a lot of product and brush on one side of face). When i looked in the mirror, i was disappointed; my neck was yellow and my face was a little darker with a red/pink tinge to it. DAMN IT! I returned it! I felt so good about about this too.
Now I am out of StudioFix and refuse to pay $30 for powder and looking for something that comes close! HELP me guys!
